The Final Inspection LLC was founded by David Keizer who has over 25 years of residential construction & remodeling experience including quality assurance and identifying punch list items. His start began when he was 15 years old and helping his father around the house. Since then he has worked in all aspects of residential construction and completed numerous remodeling projects, additions and house lifting. In addition, he has acquired a keen attention to detail along with the ability to identify the quality of workmanship, potential failures and safety concerns.
The company name was derived from the final inspection given to recruits during the last few days of boot camp during which final review or assessment is given before graduation. I thought since the home inspection may be the last time the property is seen before closing, the name was appropriate.
In the past David has studied Real Estate, Computer Science, Civil Engineering and holds a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. Additionally before the housing market crashed he was a licensed real estate agent in NJ. Besides home inspection training and its related continuing education, he remains current in any industry changes. Firmly believing not only continuing education but also staying up to date with the new technology, innovations and products found in the home. David has recently become Infrared Certified and has added thermal imaging to his list of services. He is currently studying green building and home energy loss and efficiency. David is currently licensed in NJ for Home Inspections and Radon Testing and is an InterNachi Certified Master Inspector.
